There are many people that are displaced and or lost from society. Lost tribes, or sometimes referred to as uncontacted people are usually people that have no contact with society or any form of civilization. These peoples may be lost and uncontacted on their own volition or it may have been because of their previous circumstances. Whatever the reason may be, these persons are not anyway connected to the current world. Whatever the reason may be, these people stay single and solitary and they avoid all types of influence from the modern world and the nuances of it. These persons that are in the modern world have no real idea of what goes on in these worlds. The persons that are in the lost tribes are not essentially lost but they are disconnected from the main real word items. They are not lost in the sense that they can not be found; they actually exist but are located in the least occupied and most deserted places.
These people are in the places that there are in because of choice. There are many examples in history when people have become displaced and as a result dubbed as persons of lost tribes. The Native American peoples that were ousted by the Americans in the nineteenth century via the trail of tears and other such events can be a good example of this. They were taken to the western part of the United States, but not own their own volition. They were forced to go to the western states such as Arizona and New Mexico. These persons were forced to go to those places and they eventually stayed their and established their own tribes and lands there. However, they cannot be completely classified as lost tribes in the most basic sense because they had some type of contact to the outside world’s event though they did not intend to make any contact with the outer peoples of the current world. Many others that would normally be classified as uncontacted peoples may have contact with the outer worlds. A good example of this may be the Amish people.
In a current world like the world today, the Amish people have stayed away from the external world and its pressures. They still intend to use their old style of life by avoiding things that normal people have deemed necessary such as cell phones, internet, and other technological devices that have dramatically changed the way in which we live. During many wars, there are people that suffer from post depression syndromes and other things that make these persons’ transitions back to normal life a very hard and difficult one and as a result, they stay away from the way of life that they had before. This may be hard for some people to understand, but people that were able to leave the Vietnam War unscathed can attest to the fact that they knew mates that eventually became displaced. These unlocated peoples are still alive and prevalent today, whether it’s their choice to be there or not.
