There are many people that are displaced and or lost from society. Lost tribes, or sometimes referred to as uncontacted people are usually people that have no contact with society or any form of civilization. These peoples may be lost and uncontacted on their own volition or it may have been because of their previous circumstances. Whatever the reason may be, these persons are not anyway connected to the current world. Whatever the reason may be, these people stay single and solitary and they avoid all types of influence from the modern world and the nuances of it. These persons that are in the modern world have no real idea of what goes on in these worlds. The persons that are in the lost tribes are not essentially lost but they are disconnected from the main real word items. They are not lost in the sense that they can not be found; they actually exist but are located in the least occupied and most deserted places.

These people are in the places that there are in because of choice. There are many examples in history when people have become displaced and as a result dubbed as persons of lost tribes. The Native American peoples that were ousted by the Americans in the nineteenth century via the trail of tears and other such events can be a good example of this. They were taken to the western part of the United States, but not own their own volition. They were forced to go to the western states such as Arizona and New Mexico. These persons were forced to go to those places and they eventually stayed their and established their own tribes and lands there. However, they cannot be completely classified as lost tribes in the most basic sense because they had some type of contact to the outside world’s event though they did not intend to make any contact with the outer peoples of the current world. Many others that would normally be classified as uncontacted peoples may have contact with the outer worlds. A good example of this may be the Amish people.

In a current world like the world today, the Amish people have stayed away from the external world and its pressures. They still intend to use their old style of life by avoiding things that normal people have deemed necessary such as cell phones, internet, and other technological devices that have dramatically changed the way in which we live. During many wars, there are people that suffer from post depression syndromes and other things that make these persons’ transitions back to normal life a very hard and difficult one and as a result, they stay away from the way of life that they had before. This may be hard for some people to understand, but people that were able to leave the Vietnam War unscathed can attest to the fact that they knew mates that eventually became displaced. These unlocated peoples are still alive and prevalent today, whether it’s their choice to be there or not.

Anyone that is familiar with the Bible will know about a man named Jacob. Every bible scholar will know stories that are told over and over. Many people know about the story of an unheralded boy named David that defeated a giant named Goliath, Judas Iscariot and how he betrayed Jesus Christ, and more stories about the bible. There are many other stories that are empirically and audibly passed down from generation to generation. However, many different people do not know about the 10 lost tribes of Israel. The ten tribes are tribes that were lost from biblical account for a while and many different types of stories and accounts are given by people that have shaky knowledge of it. These ten tribes come from the original twelve. Reuben is the first one. All of the tribes each symbolize each of the sons of Jacob. These kingdoms were conquered and they became the lost tribes. A few of the other names are Levi, Judah, and Dan. Some of the hard core bible scholars will be able to name the lesser known names such as the Asher and Issachar tribes.

The most famous of these is undoubtedly Joseph. Joseph was just a small child when his legend began. He was the eleventh of Jacob’s sons which went some of them went to be the ten lost tribes. He might be the most important character in the Hebrew bible, if not the most important character. An oft told story about him is about how his brothers mistreated him and he went to become the second in command, only to Judah. His younger brother, the last one, is called Benjamin and he is also one of Jacob’s twelve sons. Jacob also favored Benjamin a lot and the other brothers used this to their advantage at times. When Joseph went on to be the Pharaoh’s second hand man after he was a prisoner. He was a prisoner after resisting sexual advances from the wife of Pharaoh. After she told a fib, Pharaoh was led to put the son of Jacob into prison. Once Joseph was in prison, he was able to interpret certain dreams of the other prisoners. He interpreted a crucial dream for the Pharaoh and that led to his release. Eventually, he was used by God to become second in charge in Egypt so that he could help out his family while they were in famine. The story that has been told over and over ends when the brothers of Joseph find that the same person that they sold off as a child became a powerful man and eventually the man to save them. There are many other stories that are told, but none as famous as Joseph and his ascendancy to fame within Egypt. The twelve sons of Jacob will always remain in biblical lore and their stories will live on. The tribes that made it into the inclusion of the famous ten lost tribes will also be known even though the disappeared from biblical accounts.
